Since I have been working on and off down there the past 3 weeks, I have had a few opportunities to go out after work and see what this place is all about. I don't have a handle on it yet, but I do like the openness and the variety of landscapes it has to offer. Flat sagebrush praries surrounded by 14'ers. I mean how cool is that?

#7 Of course the Great Sand Dunes are there. This was 2 weeks ago, but you can see that fall was getting started then, as Stan reported.

Looks like you hid the best one at the bottom. These are all nice, but for me #9 is a notch above!

I like #6 and the "dapple" of light..... Good stuff, Mo.

Wow...you had some great light to work with!
I think it's easiest for me to point out the ones that I don't care for here in this fine series. That would be #4 and #8.
The rest are all about the light (and the 2 pano. crops ). You really took advantage of what Mother Nature threw at you! You may earn the tag 'Lightman' if you keep this up.
#'s 2, 5, 6 & 9 are extraordinary in my book. Glad you were able to get out there after a long day of work!

Great variety in this set. I also love the pastels and quality of light in your last one.
These are amazing, Morris! 2 and 6 are my favorites, but the others are plenty impressive too.

2, 3 and 5 are stunning. An exposure blend on 6 would be the best of the bunch.
I love that area. Seeing these shots makes me long for the San Luis, "land of the sunset."

#6 and #9 are spectacular!!

Great series Morris! I like 3, 6, and 9 the best.

So this is you NOT YET having a handle on the place??? Man, these are all exceptional. Those first few encapsulate the mood of the valley like no photos I've ever seen.

All beautiful shots, but #9 is really special! I love the subtlety of colors and comp.

This is a great set that really captures the area really, really well, Morris. Thanks for sharing!

Good eye Morris! Really like 3, 8, and 9. Great light and comps!

Wow, that is quite a set Morris. They are all great, but I reall like 1, 2 and 9. Really great take on the landscape down there.

Some nice ones there. 3, 6, and 9 are my favs. If you have some time up here, Peak to Peak is looking pretty good.

That's a great set. I've spent a fair amount of time in the SLV and you have captured it's character really well. There are a few obvious crowd pleasers, but I like the set as a group. They are all nice.
