This is beautiful, it looks great against that dark background
I'd clone out that piece of grass? bottom right though, it does nothing for the photo.
A great shot, well done.
Geoff.

Great lighting on this, Just a pity the beak slightly lost in the background but could be my monitor. Good stuff.

I agree with Geoff's and John's comments re minor nits but still a lovely image. The lighting coming through the wings is beautiful.

Agree re the grass, and beak - otherwise a striking use of the light

A beautiful capture would look much better with the grass cloned out, I can just make out the beak

An image with so much potential and definitely worth a revisit .

That's a lovely shot Jack. If you just carefully use the dodge tool on the brighter pixels around the top edge of the beak, it would help it stand out a bit better from the background. a couple of taps on the catchlight while you are at it would lift it even more. My kind of image that.

Agree with the feedback above. Certainly worth a revisit.

Very nice and a great job on the exposure keeping all the white together.
Cracking shot, good behaviour and beautifully lit. It's also well framed with the kittiwake flying into the space in the frame, one of your best
