The Rut is in Full Swing
Spent Saturday and Sunday morning up at RMNP photographing the rut and it seems to finally be in full swing. Unfortuntely, I didn't see any battles yet this year, but many nice dispays and the light has been good for the most part.

I spend Saturday morning in Horeshoe and Sunday morning at Morraine. Showing Saturday first, then some Sunday. I have MANY images I haven't even looked at yet, but here are a few.

Excellent work! I can almost see and hear them looking at these.
The pose, symmetry and limited DOF make me favor #3, but all are magnificent.

Nice! I like how #2 shows the power of the animal... with all those muscles. Great light too!

Nice work as always, Kurt. 2-4 are outstanding and I love #2 for the raw power and uniqueness of him bugling next to Sheep Lakes.
