lol, he looks like he doesn't like getting his feet wet

The quality looks very good indeed considering the amount of "digital zoom" involved
Well done John.

Hi John

Very nice - great pose and DOF. The later being one of the advantages of not getting too close and cropping in later.

Great pose and composition here, I like the leaf/stem balancing the image vs the sandpiper :wavey:

HI John - an interesting pose. I find the OOF green patch on the bottom right distracting :wavey:

Graham - I hadn't noticed it and now I remember it was a very, very, very OOF dock leaf !
I'll sort it later.

Crikey ! what a job getting that green out. Also noticed drop shadow wrong and maybe some bunnies.
Any way tried me best.

Dale is right about the shoot on the left, it balances things nicely. I like the repost very much.

I love the pose and agree about the foliage balancing the image.

Thanks all.
I personally think its one of the lesser quality pics I have posted.
I put it on purely to show somethjing a bit different.
Funny old forum. But then I tend to post natural history pictures not photographic club entries.
Thanks for your interest though. Much appreciated.
