Hi John

I much prefer this your previous post. The pov appears to better, the wing stretch is cleaner and the head is pin-sharp. Nice!

I like it but looks a touch cold on my monitor?

Lovely shot, but I do agree with Neil that the colours are a little on the cold side.

They both look pretty good to me John. I liked the more dynamic angles in the pose of other shot but this is a bit cleaner and sharper with plenty happening. That dark line to the left is a pain though; there's always something isn't there? Drives you nuts.

Thanks all
Firstly it was a b"+~~~y cold day
The water was grey and in fact the only real colour was on the bird and there isn't a lot of that. I can warm it up later. Yes that blasted stick. This is exactly what Tom is referring to in his post about cloning !
Thats why I left it, but it would be easy enough to take out.
Thanks again.

Top shot John, would of liked to of seen a little more space around the bird in a shot like this, but love the pose and the low POV,

John, I like this as it is. WB is always a matter of personal preference and if it was cold and that is what you want to portray then so be it. Andrew

Hi John

Great pose again. Agree it would might look better warmed up a little but then the above is probably much closer to what you saw.
