Really neat theme, Hank. Most of the images tell a story and all evoke memories and emotions.

Thanks a bunch Hank. Had a lot of fun looking at the images. Brings back some great memories of my childhood. Ones I hope to instill upon my children.

Themes area a great idea, and what a wonderful theme this one is! I proposed a similar theme for the Weekly Challenge a couple of years ago, and it worked well. I occasionally post a "child in nature" shot in Man and Nature, but they usually don't seem to fit well there according to the posting guidelines, so I really hope that you and Stan will continue themes that promote the "no child left indoors" principle at least once a year on NPN. I can' think of a more imortant use for nature phoptgraphy than promoting environmental participation -- which is the natural precursor to support for the environment from the next generation.
