As a child I spent many a happy hour playing "conkers" in the school playground, alas this custom seems assigned to history as playing conkers is now banned in many schools due to "health & saftey regulations" anyway the sight of conkers brings back may happy memories

interesting idea but i'm not sure about how you've presented the image, don't think it should be panoramic as i think the incusion of more of the trees at the top would give a better sense of setting, quite like the composition aside from that

i've never heard anything about health and safety regulations in regard to conkers, but if you type "health safety conkers" into google the first link is about how this is a myth, the second is from the daily mail claiming that handstands, tag, yo-yos, skipping and running are also banned in schools, nonsense of course
perhaps we should criticise the demise of journalism rather than the rise of health and safety

sorry I too am not keen on it. Its very small and dont look sharp maybe bigger and as a portrait would work better.

I too would like to see it bigger but think this might very well work as a Black and White image.
