I would give a body part, for this shot in my collection. I love seeing shots that show critters up close that I can only dream of getting close too. This is a beautiful shot.

Spot on Guy, 40D too! Proves you don't need the 'Top of the range' to achieve a corker of an image. :toast: :toast: We know who's going to be knocking on your door

Hi Guy
It's always nice to find them so young but they can be buggers for living in the trickiest of places. You've handled the exposure well and whilst it's a good shot it is a little bit let down by the messy habitat. I'm not going to be all neat-freak about it but I do want to always give my honest opinion so perhaps it's a location that you can return to in April/May and see if there is any chance of improving on it.
Good stuff
Andy

Nice image Guy I have seen better cubs shots from you,a little to close for me giving the subject no room. Beautiful light   :wavey:

I love it guy.
I'm probably picking at the bones but I'd just like to see the eye in shade brought out a little more.

The subject matter and dappled light is excellent, as is the inquisitive pose, low shooting angle and natural setting. :toast:
