Crystal Mill worth it

Im headed down from Loveland this Sunday toward the Ridgway area and would like some advice on a stop at Crystal Mill on the way. Lacking a 4wd I will have to hire a lift so if anyone has info that will help me make a judgment I would appreciate it. I return every year so its not critical if I miss this year, unless of course I croak first :smile:

Put your thumb out to hitchhike, that's what I did and the first car picked me up. It should be busy enough on a Sunday. If you don't like that idea, there are jeep and atv rentals in town.

Actually, I was not clear in my question. What I am concerned about is the foliage around Crystal Mill green, peak, or gone. I dont mind hiring a jeep....just wanted to know if the conditions made it worth it. Joe Rogers

I was there last Saturday. I would say the colors were not quite at peak but close, probably peaking 4-5 days ago. Check out this link for photos I took last Saturday:
