Dipper
One from april this year,it's from one of my projects I set myself, I have always wanted to get them in-flight so after a lot of careful preparation I found myself a suitable site and decided to give it one day when the young are close to fledging.

This is one from a sequence of eight images,I particularly like it because it is throwing the air brakes on, as the second bird is just out of view sitting on the rock where it was flying to,I have posted a similar one from the sequence before and may post another one where it looks like a torpedo you cannot see the wings as they are moving so fast.

Phil.

When I opened this my comment was "Awe (four letter word) that's great".
Can't really sum it up better than that.

Unusual, and a great capture. I might be tempted to clone out that green leaf at the top.

Hello Phil.

Cracking capture and I agree the wing position is very nice as is the composition.

I also think the green leaf should be cloned out.

Excellent work, it's not easy to get one in flight like this.
Would be better without the leaf though.
Well done.

Geoff.

Definitely a different shot of a dipper - not at all what I expected to see when I opened the thread.

I know from bitter experience how hard they are to get in flight Phil :frown:

Excellent shot :toast:

I would get rid of the leaf though
