Grass snake
Let's hope this one looks a little better on upload than my last offering.

Two images of a grass snake found on a reptile survey of Box Hill in Surrey. Two years of surveying on the site and this is the first grass snake I have actually seen there, although I have found sloughs previously. For those who do not know the site, it has a steep south-facing slope, which enabled the low point of view looking up towards the animal's chin.

Thanks for looking.

David

I'm not a snake lover but I like this image.
Focus on the eye looks very good on my monitor.
Well captured.

Geoff.

I really like this. I think the palette is lovely and natural, no over saturation, and the crop works very well indeed. The only nit (so minor) is oof grass over the raise underside of the body on the lead up to the head.

A really natural image. Kudos
