Nuthatch in autumn colors
I would love to post a kingfisher but I won't

Same spot but no squirrel this time. Lovely bird to watch and photograph.

iso 200 1/60 sec. f/4 full frame

A very nice setting. A little different to many Nuthatch images and I like the 'small in the frame' approach. :toast:

Very nice Edwin

The colours and pose look great and you did well to catch it at 1/60th.
Well done.

Geoff.

That's just lovely, I really like the Autumnal colours and different take on the Nuthatch picture.

Cheers,

Hi Edwin, probably the best Nuthatch posted to date, well this year

This time of year tends to bring out some of your best work IMHO. The soft, rich browns juxtapose to the delicate colour of the NH really works well together and handled with care. Using the bracken in the foreground sets the scene/time of year Edwin. Great use of space, feel another front cover coming up perhaps?

Perfect :toast: :toast:

This is why you earn the money doing it! Excellent.

Love the composition on this Edwin. Also nice to see a Nuttie on a decent perch with nice surroundings. Not easy to achieve. BG is also stunning. :wavey:

As above Edwin but to my eye at least it looks as if it could use a very slight CCW rotation?
