Xylaria hypoxylon

Hi All,

Indeed it has been a long time since I last posted. Since the move I still don't seem to have enough time to devote to the forum or in the field as I would like, but I am sure the time will come. It's Phil's fault of course  But seriously, thank you all for your well wishes, much appreciated.

This image is a follow up to Phil's earlier posting after our woodland walk earlier today.

Well executed shot Fran but the subject isn't as appealing as Phil's. Must be he bags all the good looking ones!

I like the simplistic composition and the slightly graduated background.

I like the off-centre composition and the background makes the fungi really stand out.

Nice shot.

Cheers,
Chris

Unusual looking fungi. Composition and BG set it off nicely. :wavey:

Glad you have settled in/down

I must say I disagree with Robert, I find this the more interesting subject. Obviously Phil is a gentleman after all.
