Hi all.
Been continuing with photographing fungi recently, time is tight at the moment and they fungi dont run or fly away
This is a 10 shot stack taken yesterday, the only dry few hours round here this weekend, found quite alot of fungi about most were waterlogged and damaged but did find a few good specimens.
Looked for a diffrent angle with this one and used what I have called selective stacking, that is not totally sharp from front to back just enhance depth of field, to me it looks more natural, what do you all think.
D300, 105mm macro tripod 10 shot stack at f 7.1 / 1/5th sec
As always all critique more than welcome

Shaun I can't make up my mind about this. I like the composition but I wonder if a slightly darker BG would have enhanced the subject more. The stacking has worked for the fungi but I feel it has sharpened the greenery a little too much. Just a personal view.

DOF looks good to me but would like to see the fungi a bit darker
