No one else is posting. CSNP used to be very active. What's the matyer???
Anyway, here is a cliff from the Brooks Range in Alaska. I thought the texture of the cliff was interesting. Only several days without overcast or rain...
Nikon D700, Nikkor 28 mm manual, 1/200 sec., f/11, 1/1250 sec.
Had my ISO too high for some reason. Probably from the previous shot.
Comments appreciated.

It looks like only a few posts last week. Maybe everyone was on vacation like I was.
The overcast skies help to show the textures without too many shadows.

Yes, interesting texture. Also, well composed with nicely arranged and well-balanced elements.

I like this one Larry, lots of visual interest. For me the trees at the top of the rock formation really make this photograph.

Photo forums in general are pretty dead right now, everyone is out for fall color!
Interesting texture there, I can't help but wonder how this would look BW
