I subscribe to several comic strips that aren't carried by my local newspaper, including What the Duck. (It's published as W. T. Duck in some newspapers) I don't really care for the drawing style and often it's not very funny but occasionally it really hits the nail on the head. Probably appreciated more by photographers than by non-photographers.
