You got really close! Shows up the detail and colour very well. I might try to tone down the background highlights a little.

A little tight in the frame but nice detail, BG and exposure.

Hi Robert

Not an easy subject to get close to. Agree that the composition is a little tight but that is off-set by the wonderful degree of detail in the bird plumage. Not just a black bird is it.

Very well exposed,great stance captured, standing very proud. I love their eyes and light grey on the neck/heads Robert,great shot :wink: :wink: :wavey:
