Only in Yellowstone
A BUNCH of us were photographing a group of elk in a meadow on the Madison. We were enjoying the competition between this satellite bull and the young bull that had replaced this bull as heard bull. All the sudden the satellite bull lined up with us all and watched with us the excitement out in the meadow. What a kick! The new heard bull was being run to death chasing this bull around the meadow.

Interesting side note, this bull was again the heard bull by the next Friday.

Great story to go with the photo. It also catches the chaos that often goes on with all of the humans crowded around these area.

Great capture Rohn. I photographed these bulls a couple of weeks ago.

Considering 5 years ago one of these guys put two men in the hospital and destroyed two cars that had to be towed out, everyone is still too close! But when they walk among where you are, what are you going to do but take shots! What's the guy with the giant telephoto taking a picture of, the bull's eyelashes?
