Follow the eloquent words of Chief Lone Waddie ( Outlaw Josey Wales )"You must endeavor to persevere". On Monday morning 10-4 after sitting through a breakfast at the Denny's in Bishop that was spiced with lighting flashes and the crash of thunder my daughter and I decided to 'persevere' and go up to North Lake despite the ominous conditions. We were rewarded. Nikon D-300 D-light settings +1 ISO -1. Had a great time at the "Whoa Nellie Deli" meeting with the group in spite of the riot at the pumps. I know how the Deli got it's name it's what you say or think after you see the prices.

Gorgeous image Paul!
Your perserverance really paid off here. I wish I could have been there this year. But glad to see that everything came together for the group. Thanks for posting.
Well worth the trip to North Lake to capture it under these beautiful conditions. Love what the dusting of snow brings to this image. It really adds to the mood and layering effect. Nice work and it was a pleasure meeting you and your daughter Sunday.

Lovely, Paul! The color and light are great, plus I like
