Hi everyone, as said yesterday, I haven't been out much of late :frown: . So here's one of a Carrion Crow taken at midday, on a bright sunny day last May. It was during my 1/2hr lunch break, and so was just a quick handheld grab shot. I watched the bird from behind a tree for a little while, it could hear Coot chicks calling in the reeds below it. Wiley, intelligent birds, always on the lookout for an opportunity, but it failed this time, cos my presence proved too much to bear   . All C&C's welcome, many thanks,
Paul Rosser.

You were certainly fortunate to catch it Paul as they are one of the most wary birds I know (usually). The fence wire is a bit distracting but some good detail in the bird.

good shot of a difficult species, the fence isn't the ideal perch of course but not much to be done about that

Nice capture Paul. Please note that you should not use capital letters for the second bit of a Latin name (I have seen it earlier as well)
