Back from being away from the northern hemisphere for 11 months. Did a little traveling, so thought I would share. Katoomba Cascades in the Blue Mountains of Australia.

Welcome back Cynthia! You've been having quite an adventure!
That's an interesting little cascade. Nice composition.
I love the mix of green and "rust".
It appears to be iron staining, or is it just a red algae?
Welcome back, and what stories you will tell your grandchildren some day! Those are all great! The only tiny nit would be the blurred bird in the one beach shot, but all the rest are fine work. The colors and the light in the first one are excellent, and the moment of the wave crest in the second is equally good. Makes me wish I could surf.
Welcome back. #3 is my favorite of this bunch. Even though it is not nature, it is beautiful and a great composition.

2, 3 and 4 are my favorites. Any chance you could share the technical details on the urban night image? I haven't been able to get that level of success, myself. Nice work.

Thanks all...yeah blurred birds...didn't know they were there...I was focusing on the waves. Night shots are easy, especially bright ones like cityscapes...tripod, pick the f stop you want, compose, and let the camera do the work...most SLR's will take a photo automatically up to 30 seconds. Then I bracket up or down in 1/3 stops.

That's easy for you to say.
