Hi, I have an upcoming trip to the UK mid November and wondered if any members have suggestions for wildlife or special places to photograph.
I will be based around St Austell but have a car. Help is appreciated.

The RSPB reserves at Marazion Marsh and Hayle Estuary are both within easy reach of St. Austell. I have never been to either in late autumn, but according to the RSPB website they are both good for migrating and wintering birds. Hope you have a good trip.
Most birds on the Hayle Estuary are dots in the distance, I have found Copperhouse Creek & Carnsew Basin to be slightly better. I have been able to get close to birds at both Drift Reservoir (West of Penzance) which has a hide and Davidstow Airfield ( North West of Launceston). There are also winter cruises to see Avocets around the Plymouth area but am not sure where they leave from.
Plenty of good landscape oppertunities especially along the North Coast.
