I was in the Porcupine Mountains last weekend and from Lake of the Clouds the colors were a bit muted and you could see that quite a few leaves were down. 25mp winds didn't help. The leaves along the south border road were good but are probably past peak by now. We drove up to Copper Harbor and found the leaves along 41 were a bit muted and should be at peak about now if the winds didn't take them down. Brockway Mountain was still green last weekend.

The Ironwood area which was at peak the end of September doesn't have many leaves remaining.

I drove up to the border along the Minnesota north shore a couple of days ago and most of the leaves are gone. The exceptions were at High Falls at the border and at Gooseberry State Park.

The trees from Superior Wi to Ashland Wi were outstanding Yesterday. Had a great day of shooting at Lost Creek Falls.

The trees from Bruce Crossing to The junction of 28 and 41 in the UP were outstanding today. I'm currently in Munising and the trees are just heading down from the peak but still Very good.

Sorry this was supposed to go in the fall color report. Would move it
but I'm having problems figuring out my sons gift laptop.
