After all the great feedback from their patrons, the College Hill Library staff asked me to submit an application for another group photo exhibit next year. I was just notified that we have been accepted again.
This time it will be for the month of December. That means an installation during the weekend of December 3-4 and a takedown on Jan 3 (or pickup at my house later). I had discussed a mid-Nov to mid-Dec run with a number of members and everyone thought that was great for holiday sales. Unfortunately there is another group already scheduled for November.
So, I need some quick feedback to determine if enough members are interested in participating in a December show. If not, then I will decline the invitation. I'd rather give the opportunity to some other group.
Thanks again for all of you who made the July show so successful.

I would be interested this time around since I missed out last time -- and December would be better for me anyway. Thanks for organizing this, its a great opportunity for the group.

I would be interested. Hard to say what changes a year will bring, but I enjoyed participating in the last show and would like to do it again. Thank you, Bill.

I would also be interested in participating.

I'd be interested in participating. Is there a theme?

Obviously I can't ask anyone to firmly commit to an event a year from now. I just need to get a feeling if that time of year is totally unacceptable to the members in general.
Again, we'll be looking for 30 to 40 images for the available display space. Based on last year's participation, that will allow everyone who enters to have at least one picture on display, and you most likely will have the possibility of two.
Bert, we will not restrict this show to a theme, because I'd rather have maximum participation. So, any landscape, nature, wildlife subject within our "official" Rocky Mountain states qualifies. I felt the audience appreciated the variety of last year's show.
Thanks for the replies so far.

I'd be interested but I think I'm getting kicked out at the end of the month.
Still mulling it over (and it aint about the money).

I'd be interested as well. I was interested last year, but had commitments that interfered. That timeframe is a little easier for me.
If I can only get the moola to do some enlargements!

Thanks for the quick replies. It appears there is enough interest to support a good show, so I have sent in our acceptance.
We'll plan on having the voting/selection notifications completed by mid-September. That should allow plenty of time to get prints and frames.
With the available panels/easels, we can hang ~35 images. If we have lots of participation, I will try to get more panels. The objective is to allow every member who participates to hang at least one image. If there is a low turnout, then some, or all, may have the opportunity to hang two images.
