Elk River
This is a river bank I shot this last week along the Elk River near Eureka. I cropped a little off the left side of the frame, but otherwise, not a lot done in post processing. All comments much appreciated. Best Regards.

Michael, some very lush foliage here. Living in such arid regions such as So Cal it's always great to see some greenery. I have family who live in Eureka area and sadly I've missed visiting them for many years now.
I might try adjusting the cyan out of the green a bit, it has a slight neon look to me on my monitor. These are the type of images that take a little fiddling with to fine tune the colors a bit. Sometimes neutralizing things makes things happen fairly quick too.

Paul,
Thanks for your comments. It is a lush environment. I've had the pleasure of visiting Eureka a couple of times this year on business and have made it a point of going out to do some photography. Its surprising how close the "wilderness" is to the town. You should visit your family and check it out. Thanks for the color tip. Best Regards.

I like the lushness and overlapping layers captured here. I too would prefer a slight reduction of the green cast to separate the elements a little more. Nice find!
