Very nice, Harley. Good for you to be able to isolate even that much of a tree scene in an environment as busy and cluttered as everywhere in the area. Seems to be a magenta cast and generally dark, but it's a great comp.

Harley,
Very nicely balanced image. Looks like you even got a little red in the fall colors this year. Best Regards.

A very peaceful fall scene, Harley. I agree with the comment regarding a
magenta cast; nevertheless, this is a lovely composition.

Harley, a wonderful composition. I like how it has a bit of variety to the scene and provides a strong sense of our familiar eastern sierra landscape. Although it leans toward the warmer side as pointed out already, I prefer that tendency over too cool a cast we might see in shaded areas. A slight adjustment in splitting the difference might be worth the exercise to see how things look too.

I like this a whole bunch, Harley. Maybe a little bit of magenta going on in the bottom part of the image...rocks and water. The comp is awesome, as I am really drawn into the whole scene... gotta love running water, aspens and autumn :toast:

I really like this, Harley. You've got a nice composition, here. I see a magenta cast primarily in the boulders and water, as well. I think the triangle formed by the large boulders in the FG reallt ties the comp together.

If the weather hadn't gone sour, Krilliana and I would have likely headed south; looks like color was very, very nice.

Well composed and captured! There's lots of interest here top to bottom for the eye to take in. I too would favor a slight reduction of the magenta cast in the lower half, but this works wonderfully as presented. Good stuff!

Great composition. Lots of visual interest. Good point of view. Diagonal line of water leads you through the photo. Well executed.
