My plans for camping and shooting some fall color went awry with the arrival of a wonderful snow storm. I had a blast and filled up quite a few CF cards. This is from Snowy Range pass. Thanks for any comments.

Congratulations on scoring the first wintry scene of the season.
This is an excellent composition! Every tree (dead and living) looks like it's been blasted by the elements. An apocalyptic looking scene, for sure.
I think that the whites could stand to be a bit brighter, but displaying this against a pure white background may enhance those greys a bit more than they appear.
Fine work here, Paul!

Brrr.. Hope you had some warm clothes along!
The wind blasted trees certainly tell the story.

This is a splendid testament to just enduring, no matter what!
I really like the comp and the light. But, I am not ready for this yet! So I hope it stays in Wyoming.

Paul....this gives me the chills...literally! That is one cold looking scene.
Wow! I was actually considering a trip up there this weekend, kind of glad I changed my mind. But you got a sweet shot and an early taste of things to come. It seems a little on a dark side as Johns mentioned.

Per John and Alek's suggestion, here's a brightened up repost. Thanks folks.
