I saw the event mentioned in the latest 5280. Is anyone planning to go shoot this? http://chimneyrockco.org/, look for the "Major Lunar Standstill" link.

I went on the full moon tour, which occured a few days before a lunar standstill. I did this because it's one of the few opportunities to photograph the Great House at sunset. I'd asked beforehand if I could photograph at sunset and they said yes. But about 30 minutes before sunset the guides told me I had to join the group away from the Great House. I finally convinced them to let me stay and photograph until sunset. But if you are planning to photograph with the nice light before sunset, be forewarned that they may or may not let you. All in all, it's a good program, but a bit too touristy for me... lots of really out-of-shape people huffing and puffing to make it up a rather short climb. And I've never seen so many people so thrilled to see the moon rise. And yes, I guess I am a bit too cynical. It's still a worthwhile experience. But I'd recommend the Ute Mountain Tribal Park over this...it's less commercialized and you'll see more ruins.
