The title of this photo reflects the fire burned trees and the new grass growth and of course the water that is the life force.

Wade,
This is a unique photo with lots to look at. It's clean, the stream leads you into the scene and it's nice and sharp. Excellent!

Very nicely seen and done!

Wow - I love this photo! The colors, the pattern of the trees, almost seems abstract until you look at it for a few minutes and then the creek comes to life. (Since I work in wildland fire, this particular photo is especially appealing to me. I do some work with rehabbing the forest after fires, also.)
Outstanding photo!
Fantastic shot Wade! Just a sweet comp: the essence of what is there that tells a powerful story. Nice dof and a light hand in the processing. Looks like Yellowstone. Was it?

HI Catherine, and marcy. Yes this is from Yellowstone. I just returned from spending 9 days there. Marcy thank you for the kind words.

I really like this one Wade. It's probably my favorite photo I have seen from you. Everything works together here to create a really strong comp. Your title really gives this shot a deeper meaning as well.
