I made a boo boo and imported photos into the wrong folder within Lightroom. I know I can't move them to the correct folder outside of Lightroom w/o causing a problem, but I don't know how to move them between folders within LR. Any ideas? Nat?

If you just move the images in explorer, then the next time LR3 opens it will know there is a broken link. You can then point it to the new location of the file.
The other ways I would think to handle this would involve exporting a selection of images as a catalog. Delete the images from the current catalog. Moving the "new" catalog and selected images to the "correct location" and then importing/merge the catalog and its images again. LR sees the links relative to itself (the catalog location) and it will sort it out if done this way.

I think the ole 'drag & drop' method should work.

Adam: I tried that and got denied. Maybe I've got a preference setting wrong?

As Adam noted, drag and drop works fine, once you figure it out.
In the library module, get into Grid View. Select the images that you want to move. Left click on the group and hold down the mouse button while you drag the group to the destination folder in the left panel.

Ditto what Bill said. For your cataloged photos, Lightroom can totally take the place of Windows explorer.

Drag and drop within the browser has always worked for me as well.

Doh! I forgot about drag and drop within lightroom. That's the way to go.

Sweet. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the help, everyone!
