I really enjoyed the Fall of 2010- very little wind, colors were great and they lasted a long time in the mountains. Rod Chandler and I had a chance to Ramble around and enjoy the great weather. We did lack early snow and great clouds so I decided to look around for different compositions. Sometimes looking down can surprise you.

Man, you need to teach an intimate landscapes clinic, Bob! These are really nice.

Todd, it is a real pleasure to go out and photograph with Bob. The discouraging part is coming back to see how much better his images are than mine. I shot the same image of the stream. Mine is really good. Bob's is exceptional. You're right. The old boy has talent.

Wonder if it's too late to delete my entry from the Intimate Landscapes thread. These are clearly the class of the litter. Nice work Bob!

That's an impressive set of images. You had a productive fall! Excellent work, Bob!
Thanks for the "Porter-esque" views of a Colorado autumn!

#2& 4 grab me most. In 2, the wood and red plants angle away from the URC. The upper piece of wood makes the image more cohesive.
In 4, maybe crop off the upper bit to eliminate the twigs? Perfect shutter speed to me- softer but still shows action.
