High and dry
Taken early one very cold and frosty Winter's morning at Llangorse Lake in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales, UK.
You can just see the frost on the foreground stones.

The Sun was still behind a mountain and I liked the way it lit up the clouds.

Sony A350
Sigma 10-20 EX
1/3 sec
f16
ISO 100
15mm
-0.3 stop exposure compensation
Centre-weighted metering
Tripod
Cable release
Probably used a Cokin X-Pro 2 stop ND grad, I usually do.

I think I'll get my rods out again, a bit of pike fishing perhaps, the picture has a nice smell to it Geoffrey !.

I like the lead in of the rope and the angle/lead of the boat edge juxtaposed with the side of the island. Really nice composition.
