The 'Brothers'
Even when the parents are taking a nap, the little ones are always alert and and constantly watching out with a heightened curiosity.

As the light was harsh, colours were quite contrasty, so I converted to B/W just for a change.

There is still some detail in the whites, could probably pull more back. Look like my twin nephews, ready for mischief.

I think this works well in B & W Steve but wonder if you couldn't achieve a bit more detail in the main subject. Nice capture. Love the expressions.

Thanks Neil & Maggie.

The main problem I feel is the size of image posted and for once, this may not illustrate it as well as the A3 print? It is more 'contrasty' at this size than perhaps I wish, however... Worth a punt.

Cheers

A handsome pair Steve, I think I'd like the face of the left cub to be a bit lighter.

I would agree with Matt, steve, the shadow across the lh cubs face is very distracting to my eye. However, I do find that many images don't do themselves justice at 720 pixels and a lot of the impact of a shot is lost.

Hi Steve,

I really like this and believe it has great potential as a black and white image. I also believe that a lot is "lost" in web sized images. IMHO A3 prints always look better

Hi Steve

A well composed image that works well in B & W and I don't have any exposure issues with the main point of focus - the cubs. Love the eye contact with plenty of shadow detail in their faces.

Hi Steve, Good detail in the subject as with all of your images and I like the choice of B&W given the contrasty conditions.

The shadow across the LHS cubs face has come across as quite harsh at this resolution. I would try and even out the shadows / highlights in that area somehow.

Cheers

Hey Austin, me thinks you saw Robert's comments

Will post an 'Bhai' image for you next then, but not the 'award' one, :jump: :jump: :jump:

Where's the Cheetah's then, still at 'Toys r Us'?

Hello Mr. K, nice to see you posting again. :wavey: Like the gaze and subject but not so sure about severed bodies at the back. Must be awesome to see these in the wild.

Rgds,
