This female boar has seen me for the last 3 or 4 weeks now, sometime under camo, sometimes not. On Sunday, after finding the red deer I returned to her area and parked myself somewhere different. She would not allow her litter out from the undergrowth but she seemed perfectly relaxed, despite always having at least one eye on me and came closer than ever (maybe smelling the peanuts on my bag?). Even when I used flash she did not blink (but I wonder if it is the reason the litter did not appear).

Hi Neil
Very nice capture of what I am sure is not an easy subject in the wild.

What a beauty. The big one on your blog is superb.
I did wonder about making things a little lighter around the eyes just to help bring them out a little, but they are much easier to see on the bigger version.
