Here is the dilemma. New LED backlit monitors are starting to come out in droves now. I have a Spyder 3 PRo and if I check comments, some people say it works with LED and some say not true.
I am also considering moving up to the Xbrite color munki because that one can create printer profiles...anybody know if it works with LED monitors.
Finally, if anyone has input on other higher end calibration devices, let me know how they work for you. I would really like something that can do monitors AND printer calibration.
Jack, I am still with Spyder 2. I print out of LR. The colors match very well. I have used some prints to figure out the brightness setting of the monitor to match that to the print and feel I am pretty close. (At least thee are no more surprises that the print comes out darker than what I see on the monitor.) For my iMac, I keep the brightness at about 4 - 5 dots when I edit the photos.
