Another ID please

Can anyone please ID these ducks? They kind of look like female mallards but they were smaller than other mallards swimming nearby. I also considered female pintails or female gadwalls or possibly female green-winged or blue-winged teals. None of my shots showed the top of the wings so I can't see what color they may have been. thanks in advance for any help.

Steve,

Thanks very much for the ID. The spot above the wing is just some kind of debris floating in the water.
