Roosting Redshanks
Taken at Burnmouth in the Scottish Borders. I have had this picture in my head for a couple of years now. But could never get the right combination of hide tide to get the birds on the top of the breakwater and the sun in the late afternoon to throw the background in shade and light the roosting birds

Hi Ron

Almost looks as though you had taken the birds with flash roosting at night. Different - I quite like it.
