Haven't posted for quite a while now due to other commitments, but now I have just launched my own website and coincided this with becoming a fully paid up member of NPN, I am looking forward to posting more regularly now.
I have recently started experimenting with focus stacking and this morning I took this as the conditions seemed perfect.
This is a 20 shot focus stack, the reason for so many shots is that the top part of the grass is leaning towards the camera which you probably can't tell from this.
As I don't have much experience with this yet I would value your opinions as to the result.
Canon EOS50D
Sigma 180mm
ISO100
f16
0.6 sec
Liveview
Tripod and cable release
Helicon focus
Photoshop for usual levels, curves and shadow adjustments.
Thanks for looking
Heath

Your result is fine and using f16 was a good choice... as you get more used to the technique try to open the aperture more as this will allow more selectivity in focus, for example, when it is impossible to avoid a slightly distracting background... looking forward to seeing more.
