I too was in the Eastern Sierra with my wife last week. This was taken at North lake on the morning of Oct 7. It was very busy at the lake with a large photo class in process.
Canon 5DmkII, 17-40. Blend of two exposures.

Can't really comment on any color of contrast here because I'm on a crappy laptop but I really like the dusting you got here Mike. It has a slight tilt in the lake line that's fixable. I might crop some of the right side but that's just me. Anyhow great to winter and fall all in one.

Mike,
Really nice reflection in this one, and the icing on the cake (snow) is great too. The lake shore does seem to be tilting slightly to the left. It was a good fall crop of the photographers in this area as well as outstanding fall color.

I didn't make it up to North Lake this year...maybe next year.

This was my first visit to Bishop Canyon.
I rely on a bubble level so much that I failed to scrutinize for tilt.
It almost looks too saturated to me but real life was very colorful.
