Reds in Bishop Canyon
I don't know who decided to put a telephone wire in the photo. Thought I would wait to get home and use the content aware on the desktop to remove the wire. Anyhow the laptop isn't calibrated so hope the contrast or color isn't far off in this one.

There are other reds like this in the canyon w/out a wire running through it and not too far off the beaten path; south lake side. A crop from the top would work just as easily and still retain the pleasant image shown. I know what you mean about thE wire. Seems last season I was setting up a nice comp in LV canyon only to find a similar wire running through the frame!

Steve, Looks like you found some nice reds and you can make that wire disappear... The image does look like it could use a little contrast to my eye. But very pleasing. Best Regards.

Argh those telephone gremlins are up to no good again!

Nice looking image, Steve. A crop from the top works, but I like the balance as-is, so cloning it out is the way to go IMO. I agree this could use a little more contrast.

Nice image, Steve. I agree regarding a crop from the top.

Just thought I'd mention that the red leaves are Creek Dogwood.

yup, the crop just below the wire is very much expected.
