Was anybody else lucky enough to experience the Sierra snowstorm a couple weeks back? Here's Bishop creek during the snow. Everything about 8k was covered.

Oh wow that first one is awesome. A "first snow" image I would love to hang on my wall! I would be tempted to do a 4x5 vertical crop from the right to remove the evergreen on the right side. It seems a little out of place.
Nice images. I like the third one best. In the first one, I think a vertical format or, as Mat indicated, a crop from the right would make this one sing. I like the second image'. I'd like to see more detail in the lower left corner. The light is very nice.
I'm going to put my moderator hat on for a minute and request that you post only a single image per thread, the exception being re-posts of the original image. Multiple images per thread make it difficult to comment. Thanks.

Thanks, guys.
Preston, I'll definitely keep that in mind going forward. I was aware of that policy, but I thought it applied to the ESS gallery and not the CANP forum.
Regarding the images, I did try the first without the evergreen on the right, but it lacked depth. Its inclusion adds another layer and for me at least provided a bit more depth. But I can see the argument to go without it.
I can definitely improve upon the second one. This was a tricky one, with 3 exposures blended (and some flare to contend with). Some more time in PS and I think I could clean it up.

All are nice shots, but I like the third one the best. Nicely done.

I'll vote for the third. I had to leave the day before the snow storm came in. Would have loved to stick around as some of the images you all brought back are stunning. All above are very nice but my fav is #3.

Anish,
Nothin' like that first snow storm of the season. A great creek side scene to showcase the transition. I can see what you mean about losing some depth, but I'd put another vote in for cropping to a square (as a possible alternative.)
The last image is gorgeous.
