I know this is not everybody’s cup of tea but I just wanted to shoot oystercatchers a little bit different. What do you think, should I keep my camera gear???

For me Dennis this would have worked wonderfully well if it were not for the horizon in the background. If it had been all 'stripey sea' it would be great. Just the right amount of blur.
I know where Robert is comming from but some how I feel you need the horizon there to tell what you are looking at. The over all effect thought is very pleasing.

I like it a lot! I think the horizon is fine, but wish the birds didn't break it. I might crop a little off the top. Very creative and a lovely image.

If the horizon wwas only a touch higher...I can see both sides though and it is still a good shot.

Great idea and if only the horizon were that bit higher it would have been so much better.
