After a hard drive crash, I reloaded PS5. Now if I open an image either in PS or Bridge, I shows a wierd magenta off color. If I do nothing to it and try to print it, in prints in normal color. I have tried everything I can think of. Any ideas?

I did a re-install of PS5 and it did not help.

Skip, save the shot as a jpeg without changing the color space and view it in another image viewer, like the built-in Windows Image Fax Viewer thingy...if it looks the same then the color profile on your PC needs help, maybe go get the latest video card drives for your card being you did a reinstall. If the jpeg looks fine, then recheck what your working color space is in Photoshop. I have mine set to ProPhotoRGB, but sometimes if I open an older file that I saved as Adobe RGB it looks screwy Louie, until I convert the color profile of the image to my working space. You can als set Photoshop preferences to bark at you when you're opening an image with a different color space than your working space. Kooky, isn't it?

When I open JPEGs in windows, they look normal.
