You never need apologise for posting robins as far as I am concerned, Karen. This is a lovely capture with a great background, but on my (uncalibrated) works monitor it looks a little too bright. I would also like to see a little more space on the right for the bird to look into. Both minor nits, easily sorted.

Very nice Karen, colours and brightness look ok to me, agree with David looks a little central, so could do with a little more space to the right.

Even common birds can be attractive and a nice pose to boot.

Hi Karen, one of the best Robin images I've seen for a while. Love the pose, perch and background. (In fact I think that means I like it all! )

Looks OK here Karen but I am not on my own computer so cannot comment too much on colour and brightness.
The eye shape looks a little unusual and it is a great background.
That really is a belter Karen. Everything in this is complimenting everything else; the pose of the bird and the shape of the log; the colours in the bird and the log and even the background colours are complimentary. Lovely image.
Why do so many photographers feel they have to apologise for posting images of common species. If the only criterior for having a good picture was the scarcity of the subject then I think it would be time to pack it all in. Surely, as has been done here, it should be more worthwhile producing a great picture of a subject that has been photographed so many times before than an average picture of a less common subject.
