Had an interesting day Saturday morning. Saw Mark & Andy et al. We had some good light but it soon turned rather harsh. Just as I was leaving I heard the clashing of antlers, so walk towards 'the' spot [at Bradgate] and these two Fallows were at it in the distance. They then head towards me and stop 20' or so in front of me and started sparing again. I'm just grateful that I had my TC off. I've seen them fight before of course but never mange to capture the action. So feel very lucky this time.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice Des, the male fallow deer look more powerful than I remember.

Really nice Des, love the flying dirt, conveys the action well.

Hi Des
Nice shot Des and to add to the feel of power some particals of dirt in the air that the deer have desturbed.

Nice one Des, now I wish we'd walked a little faster!!!!!
Right place; right time ! A little tight as I would like to have seen at least part of the LH bucks hind quarters but when you are in position with a fixed lens then you take what you can and you have certainly made the best of it Des. Very nice indeed.
