Strutting His Stuff..

Was out in the good company of a few UKNPN'ites on Sunday and we had a nice time with the Fallow deer at a local reserve.. The weather wasn't quite as expected but we had some good fun nonetheless and that made up for it..

Anyway, this buck was strutting his stuff among a small wooded clade and at this point was chasing around a few females that appeared on the scene. I would have liked a little more room to the RHS and maybe all around but that will have included some very dark tree trunks so was happy with what I got in the dappled light..

Kind regard,

Brett

Bit tight maybe, but nice in motion capture.

Very dramatic Brett and you have certainly made the best of the lighting. That buck certainly oozes raw power!

Hi Brett
Great shot, he has a purpose about him he is off to find some action.

Great dappled light here Brett and the hint of FG is spot on. OK a bit more on the RHS agreed, but difficult with fixed lenses. Just wonder if a slight lift in the shadow areas of the antlers might help?

Lovely action shot, I really like those autumnal colours in the background too.

Well caught Brett, I like the raised leg and diffused BKGR.

Agree it is a bit tight, especially the RHS.

Cheers

A nice image, if a little tight in the frame.

The dappled light and dappled coat work well together. The leg position gives a nice sense of movement and the head position with antlers in line is good too. A little tight in the frame but overall nice image.
