acting the goat
I spotted this doe high in the rocks this morning and spent a lot of time framing her through the trees. As luck would have it these two jackdaws came along and started picking ticks off of her neck so I managed a few shots to save a dull morning. I have been deliberately trying to give more prominence to the trees in my most recent images and this is another from the current project. I hope you like it but feel free to criticise.

Like it loads Eric, terrific behavioural shot, and a marvellous setting as well. :toast:

Well, this certainly is different. Like it. A bit oversharpened for my taste but I like the overall image.

I think this is great. Love the feeling of being there and glimpsing this little moment. Framing is excellent too with the tree 'pointing' towards the goat framed in the light patch. But I agree that its a wee bit oversharp. But thats a minor crit of a lovely image.

Super image Eric - great composition and the subject well framed by the trees.
