Thinking about heading into Lake Isabelle, but I have heard that the Brainard Lake Road is usually closed at the halfway point from late October. Does anyone know the exact date or if the road is open this weekend? TIA for any information.

I think Stan mentioned he had issues getting up there the other day...check his post
There is a lot of construction where the new toll station is gonna be located...don't know if that will cause you a problem or not.

this weekend is probably your last chance, Denver Weather Service and i just issued a Winter Storm Watch for Monday...
Yeah that constructionwas annoying--made for lots of ice and it forced me to drive on the wrong side of the road coming out.
