Blue Tit
This little Blue Tit just popped up over the edge of a log and I really liked the composition of the shot. The funghi to the front left Im sure will not be to everyones taste , but from viewings elewhere the general feeling was it added to the composition of the shot so Ive left it in.
Shot Stats;
Cannon 40D Cannon 400mm F5.6 Tripod Mounted
ISO 400
1/1600
Exp Comp -1/3
F8.0
Spot Metering
Cropped for composition on the LHS
C&C most welcome

I like this but maybe it would have been improved by the bird being right n top of the log then you could have seen its feet, fungi adds to sense of location, nice image :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

I like the bird and the bg but must say the funghi does draw the eye.

Nice Blue Tit but imo the fungi is fighting for centre stage
