Padley - HDR-Pano
An HDR image; it was the only way to cope with the expanse of light levels.

I'm only really doing landscape at the moment for first light and last light is all the time of the day I can find for photography.

Having owned a 617 for many years it's hard not to see like this... - Please Hassy, bring on a digital Xpan

28mm/Tpod/6 stop ND
160asa/F8/blend of 5 images from 8-120sec
Full height and a Xpan crop- cause I still have mounts for that size

Comments welcomed

I'm a fan of milky water so I'm bound to like this
It's a bold crop and it covers the main part of the landscape so it works for me.
Well done.

Geoff.

HDR works wonderfully here, love that soft water.

Very nice image Tom, great colours and lighting, I can see this image mounted would look very nice but I can't help feeling there should be more of the image when viewed on screen, but that's my personal taste.

The technique has worked very well to great effect.

I too like this. I love 'milky water'! I think I'd like to have seen a wider crop though. A fine image nonetheless. :toast:

Now if this had been a real vertical panorama then I'd have been MEGA IMPRESSED

Comp works for me all day long.

Digi-Xpan - now that's a thought to turn me on :jump:

What would this have cost on film X-pan - £100-£150 ?

Hello Tom.

Really like this and your composition is well chosen with the flow of water coming nicely through the image.
